What a wonderful weekend. My daughter turned 21 on Friday and we had a nice family party at a local restaurant here in town. It felt so good to be sober and give good motherly advice and lead by example and show that you don’t have to drink to celebrate and have a good time. I love being a sober mom and look forward to baby Leila never seeing me with a drink and be sober for her.

Between seasonal depression, my mom being diagnosed with cancer, the restrictions in society due to covid, etc my mental health has been down in the dumps these days. With that said, I decided to get dressed up to feel good. Going to actually get out and do something with myself. 849 days sober.
This is great, none of you would be doing that if you weren’t sober. Enjoy it all everyone
