Not much puts a smile on my face like a beautiful day and being in nature. Back in society now but I got a decent 7 miles in the quiet beauty
You look so happy! I want to hike so bad this weekend, but it’s still so hot here, and crowded with the holiday weekend. Maybe I’ll brave the people and get out there.
It was a foggy day to start, then I witnessed TWO sunrises! I had no service on my phone and I was lucky to get there before everyone else There was amazing cloud coverage and a breeze. Put all that together and it just made my soul feel so refreshed and amazing. (We just started to cool off this last week.)
Sounds perfect!
There’s the sober birthday girl.
Hope you’re having fun.
First sober birthdays are the best.

2nd weekend at my new part-time job.
I’ve felt so much happier overall and a greater sense of fulfillment since starting here.
It’s also making my full-time job not feel like such a tedious slog since I have some place to work with what I’m passionate about.
Here I am with our giant monstera, the biggest I’ve ever seen in person.
And this is the snapping turtle that lives in the shop.
It is. Im very close to glacier national park. Beautiful mountains here. Well, you cant see them right now due to the smoke but normally it is
Nice!! You working at a garden center??
I have a friend who got a job at one, with the mentality of it’s a job, now he’s a horticultural geek
Small plant shop. There’s only 5 or 6 employees, including myself. It’s my favorite plant shop in town. Started by asking to volunteer, they offered me a job.
That’s awesome, but I understand, like my full time gig your stuck at a desk, but it pays well.
Then you get some job where you do something your passionate about, get the chance to interact with others, and educate people on your passion, it’s like wow they pay me to do this??
I’d love to see Montana, there used to be a hiking trail called The Sacred Door trail, don’t know if it’s still there. And Wyoming, Oregon, and Washington State.
I guess I just want to go everywhere.
15.75 years and that’s exactly what I’ll be doing in retirement … if i don’t die before then lol
I’d take something smaller and cheaper than an RV. Like a big van!
Yes! Grand Teton national park. It connects to Yellowstone’s south side! We went for our honeymoon in 2020 — absolutely amazing. And do yourself a favor and visit Idaho, totally underrated! We stayed in Driggs for a few days and it was soo fun! (Here’s pics of us to keep with the thread )
I call this the “not happy vs happy” selfie gif
I apologize now. I arrived at work early and have nothing better to do
2 weeks!
Allowing myself to be okay with my progress and learning to forgive my downfalls. Self care is really important but it’s not the easiest to learn
Now im hungry lol nice fish!
