Congratulations on your 18 years of freedom Dan.
Hows everyone doing today!? Im feeling great! Had a 3 hour gym sesh! 1 hour cardio, 2ish lifting weights, 20 minutes in the sauna! To top it off im going to a concert tonight! Static x and dope are the performers! Gonna be a killer show! I also just created a Instagram to share my sobriety story!!! Took alot of courage to finally get out there but id love to see you guys on another platform and maybe help one another guide through this crazy thing we call life! My Instagram handle is sober_zaddy if this is not allowed I apologize in advance and you can take this post down. Hope everyone has a great sober rest of your weekend!!! Stay disciplined and as always one day at a time!!!
You look fantastic! Stay strong
Also, your sobriety has now graduated high school and is old enough to vote.
Finally decided to do a before and after, everyone tells me I have changed a lot, hard to notice when it’s seems gradual to me.
I technically stopped drinking a year ago, decided to give it another go last winter and it didn’t go well.
This time I did way more than “not drink”. Just stopping isn’t enough for me.
I figured if quitting the drink is going to be the hardest, then everything else should be easier in comparison.
So, I did everything. Woke up at 5am every morning, bedtime is 9pm. Get enough sleep, and plenty of time to read and meditate before hitting the gym every morning before work. No more junk food, no fast food.
Everything is better this time, I didn’t just delete drinking I added everything that could help. This time it’s permanent and I love it!
Found some awesome NA beer that I really enjoy too
Thats truly awesome and a great way to focus on all that youve added rather than the one thing youve deleted. Looking great - this new lifestyle looks good on you.
Since I was 9 years old I never went longer than 2 weeks without a drink. 300 days feels like a fresh start at life.
