Sobriety has allowed me to spend important days with special people. When I was in my addiction I hated these types of days because I was so miserable with myself. Throughout my sobriety I have continued to improve myself and have been rewarded with amazing relationships. Putting down the drink is never enough. Gotta actually work for the good stuff.
