The word has its origins in 1980s southern California, where T-shirts bearing “PO” (“police officer”) worn by cops on bicycles would, with officers riding in pairs, spell out “POPO”.

yep po po police. I 1/2 wanna get pulled over so i can declare i havent touched a drug in over 2 years. But…i dont want my insurance to go up. But it was nice not having to drive 5mph below the speed limit with one eye closed to get home. Feelin alive and fully caffinated. Rock on my ts folks!
