Iāve been pulled over twice since being sober. A very different experience than I was used to I didnāt know why I was pulled over the first time and instinctually checked my car to make sure I had nothing illegal The second time I knew and just thought ādamn, they caught meā, but was the most calm Iāve ever felt talking to an officer. Idk how I avoided a 3rd DWI for 5yrs after the 2nd one, but I am grateful I was never pulled over until after getting sober

Thanks for acknowledging when I left I had once criteria upon my return, and it was met. The after was bleak for me, however the year that passed was rich (although not necessarily financially). Feels like I grew up quite a bit.
