That’s great. I’m coming up on 10 days myself. it’s a struggle but I try to remind myself that I am stronger than my addiction.

All you need to know is why don’t you want to drink anymore. At least it was very important to me knowing the real why. I was very struggling and relapsing. For approx. 3 years I was unsuccessfully trying to stop. The problem was that my brain knew I should but my mind didn’t want to really stop. So I was fighting it too much. It could never work for me, because putting willpower to every day is very exhausting. But then I realised who I am when I am drinking and I didn’t like it. It made me want to stop. Since then I didn’t miss alcohol even once. I always come to the conclusion how better everything is when I am sober.
Sober life gives me all what alcohol only kept promising.
