I’m actually a horrible pool player. Like the kind that if I’m on your team you better be a good player because I will scratch every time.

However maybe it’s from being sober I won a single game and then won the game 3 times out of 4 in a pairs game for us.

It was pretty quiet with stuff being half shut down and a city curfew.

I’m on day #313 alcohol free and on day #4 of my 55 day raw vegan challenge and it has been surprisingly easy! I don’t really get cravings for cooked food. I drink juices, eat fruit salads, and large salads with delicious home made dressings. I feel light as a butterfly :butterfly: in my gut, my skin is glowing up, and I have lots of energy. Yesterday Day 3 was tough though! I was very emotional, short of patience and very sleepy. I wrote alot in my journal yesterday while experiencing that emotional detox. I look forward to seeing this through. This is the beginning of a new me. Transformation is the keyword for my 2020. I can’t control the government, I can’t control the media, I can’t control the protesters, but I can control what I put into my body everyday and I can control the kind of content I consume on a daily basis.

Thank you! Are you vegan already? It took some time to get me to take the leap but the last couple months until my soberversary just seems very fitting to “top off” my sober accomplishment. If you told me this time last year I’d be on a sober journey nearing 1 year and transitioning into a raw food plant based lifestyle I’d have told you "yeah in my wildest dreams! I don’t have the discipline! ". I’m ready to defy the old me.:fist:t5:

omg… sugar was a hard one for me. I lived off of it since quitting drinking. But it makes my skin breakout so bad and my body hates it so i had to say goodbye. :disappointed_relieved:

I switched over to vegan. With the occasional cheat days. Although last week I mowed brownies like everyday lol. But plant based protein has made a huge difference in all of my workouts and skin and mood for the most part, I feel it when I eat chocolate or sweets that’s for sure

I wish.:rofl::rofl: But it definitely doesn’t hurt to try to do things most people won’t do so that I can live like most people don’t live. :pray:t5:

i love chocolate. They’ve got some delicious vegan no bake chocolate brownie recipes you should give a try. They usually consist of cacao powder and dates for sweetening.

These coconut date bars are delicious, easy to make, always popular - and totally vegan (my family loves them :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: ):

Day 37 for me today, also made my sobriety known on my Facebook and Instagram profiles so no more hiding away for me and feeling pretty good about it, taking complete accountability for myself and now won’t have any awkward conversations about why I’m not drinking! hope everyone’s having a great day!
