I work in maintenance at my moms nursing home now a days. Today I’m working in laundry for the first time cuz we are short staffed. Its gonna be a good day though cuz i dont have to drink today

What a good point, Clent… I get it. Like, what reason is there in life that will make you say, eff it. Life is always going to have challenges. Thanks for that; I needed it this week.

This isn’t me obviously. But breaking news everyone! My buddy finally found the strength to pull out his tooth. It’s been a stressful/emotional week for him. I am over the moon excited and proud of him! I then suddenly had an urge to celebrate and have a drink (I know my hubby is about to go to the liquor store 🤦) but I am going to celebrate with a workout, meditation, a seltzer and lots of fun having with my kiddo instead.

I think I’m actually getting to this point in my sobriety. It’s going to be a great fucking day today because I don’t have to drink!!

Thank you mister, I appreciate that makes me feel warm inside, since getting sober people always comment on a sparkle in my eyes, it’s a much better look than the dull glaze I would rock. I never would have the courage to take a selfie, always hated myself 
now a days I’m proud to show one’s ugly mug.

It’s been a while. I think I’m like 441 days sober? Maybe 442. I haven’t been as obsessed about keeping track of it. Just trying to live, ya know? I hope everyone’s been thriving, if not, I hope everyone’s been hanging in there!

30 days AF! went for an awesome hike up a mountain and then had pizza dinner picnic with the family. it’s thanksgiving here in canada so that was our gobble gobble this year! happy sober day everyone
