Congrats man. Three years looks good on you! I can’t say how much gratitude it gives me to see the change in you over the years. I know it hasn’t ever been easy and some days – well making it through was a miracle in its own right. Much love to you.

Day 80 my sober friends! 10 more days until 3 months. Funny how the 10 days now feels like something simple versus a major challenge.Very different perspective then my first 10 days.

Happy Wednesday y’all! Went through a little bit of a rut the last few months… once 6 months sober hit and the sun started shining I feel like a new person. I’m motivated, genuinely happy and confident. I’ve learned that the pink cloud comes in waves… There were some moments questioned if this was all worth it. I debated drinking because I felt like I was done making progress so ‘why not’… but then I asked ‘why?’ I guess this is all part of this process?? The rollercoaster of goods and bads? I’m just trying to process all of this… I’m just gonna keep holding on tight as the ups and downs happen.

Very true… sometimes I think… “we focus so much with our 8 year old and his issues with coping… it’s my job to cope in a healthy way too.” So… I put my big girl panties on an do the right thing. It is truly empowering. Thank you for the kind words!
