Up at 2:15am, early even for me.
So with time to kill before the gym and taking Chief for his run, it’s a good time to squeeze in some meal prep. I will not miss this tiny-ass kitchen.

You’re very hard on yourself. I too struggled for years with not knowing how to recognize my bad behavior then becoming motivated to change it, without a lot of negative self talk and harsh criticism of my value as a person.
Like a lot of alcoholics and addicts, as a kid I felt that everyone else got the instructions for life, knew the secret and I did not. And like some others, I judged that this was my fault and I would always be a failure. To correct this broken thinking, to allow for mistakes and flaws in myself and still love who I am, I needed therapy, the steps of AA, and an honest relationship with one particular sponsor.
People are different expressions of the Divine. And that includes me - I am an expression of the Divine. And so are you, Rosa.

Thanks! The beard was recently trimmed but the hair is still long and curly (just tied back due to the heat!).

Day 265! Feeling pretty good today! I accepted a pretty major promotion, so I’m finally back to full-time work for the first time since last March. I was stressing about it a lot, but this morning I was able to get a lot of my questions answered, and I’m feeling waaaay better about it now. I’m excited to get started!

Y’all are really rubbing off on me. (Good thing) I didn’t want to run but other choices were laid in front of me and I just channeled the I can only control me and went for a run in 90 degree desert heat
