Sober selfies

I’m thinking 24-20 Atlanta tonight.
Other winners this week…23-20 Pittsburgh
24-14 Denver, 31-23 Patriots, 30-20 Green Bay, 38-27 Minnesota. 28-20 LA Chargers. I’m not predicting my favorite team (Raiders) score…it is not matching up well for us on paper against LA Rams. Haha!

THANK YOU! You’d be among the first. When I was still under the influence of stupidity I wasn’t able to express what’s in my heart, and the majority of it is a lifetime of suppressed LAUGHTER. I’ve spent a lifetime trying to fit into someone else’s mold, and in the end, I can no longer hide the fact that I am my Fathers daughter and the fruit that grew from my Mothers branches. Although they divorced while I was young, I still carry both their epigenetics and I’m doomed to a life of being a witty smart ass with a knack for positive deflection and truth in jest.

We can only hide from who we are and where we are from for so long until the Universe says “you’re done” and slaps you upside the head (in my case if you saw my previous post, literally) with REALITY. I’ve pinned myself upside Jesus in that my life and my struggles are an open book. I’m 36 and only now learning to exercise my free will… and in Dom’s world, laughter is key and the cornerstone to a HAPPY and successful recovery.

Thank you again for your words… No one has ever said that to me before and I’m going to cherish the compliment for the rest of my life. :unicorn:

I was a Pat’s fan going back to the Steve Grogan days.

Truth be told, I haven’t watched the NFL in several years. Not a single game. Not even the Superbowl, even when the Pat’s were playing.

Raiders fan here.

We can be brothers in sobriety, enemies on sundays. Fun!

Wuauh! That’s a very cool answer. Honestly I enjoy your posts and the wit inside of them. Keep this spirit and that love for the Truth. One time I heard that the best exorcism is a good sense of humour. The demons of the addiction are not happy when we laugh or smile with a pure heart. Sorry for my broken english and thank you for your answer.

Dude… Broken english or not, you have your grammar right and a fellow lover of Truth is a Brother or Sister of mine. And yes,. I’ve been as good as excorsised. :joy::rofl: Keep the smiles coming and you just may find some mildly inappropriate memes in your inbox. :innocent::nerd_face:

Poor Raiders. Sharing a park, bouncing from city to city, the coach surfers of the NFL. Vegas Raiders. Nope, name doesn’t pop.

I hate it. Wish Mark Davis and the city of Oakland could’ve checked their egos and worked something out instead of the stupid game of chicken they played.

Today, I am absolutely exhausted. I’m so looking forward to the weekend. But, despite all of that, I am beyond thankful to work in the field that I do. I am beyond thankful that I get to touch people’s lives in a positive way on a daily basis. So, despite me being absolutely exhausted, I will continue being grateful for the small things.

Hoping to go into extra innings with you as we speak… and regarding the football trade, don’t worry it probably won’t help them

Just remembered the Nationals traded Daniel Murphy to the cubs. My teams keep giving your teams player in exchange for younger prospects.:joy:
