I lived 45 minutes from Venezia by train in the late 80’s. Stationed there in northern Italy for 4 years. Enjoy your trip Emilie as it sounds fantastic!

We are going to Florence today. It’s a beautiful city, but be carefull with your belongings. Don’t buy “paintings” from a street seller, the paintings are fake (full colour prints). Visit the Duomo it’s beautiful! And off course the “Ponte veggio” bridge. When you are going to Venice go early it’s very crowdy! Buy a stads plan! We didn’t had one so we got lost in the narrow streets☺️
