Thank you to the kind folks helping me solve the issue where some of us can’t get Talking Sober to load through the app. I’ve released the beta version to the store, it’s 3.35-b1.
You can join the testing here:

I’ve made some changes to the page, but I’m not confident any of them will fix the problem. However, I’ve added some diagnostics to the page. As soon as you open it, it will start to collect information about your session with timestamps and so forth. After exactly two minutes, it will open up a dialog that will let you email me some text. The email should go to support@sociosoftware.com.
So what you need to do:
Open the app
Open the forum
Wait exactly two minutes while it collects data
Send me the email when the dialog appears
If you could repeat these steps 2 or 3 times and send me the different logs, that would be great.
I’ve changed the beta to an open beta, so anyone can follow the link and apply.
When you do get the beta version, please follow the steps that I wrote out in the start of this topic.
@Robin@dot.dot.dot - may be a dumb question, but how will I know when I have the beta version? I still just have the screen that @dot.dot.dot posted above. This is new to me…
Tap on the “download it on Google Play” link - it should give you the beta version. You can also check your app’s version on your phone. It should be 3.35-b1 (the b1 indicating that it’s the beta).
Yes. Was posting on here and had to duck out of the screen. Sorry about that. I do not have problems with the app that are not seemingly attributable to connection issues. I know that when I am troubleshooting issues in my environment, I often like having a “clean” sample to check against others so I passed it on.
