Today I celebrate 2 years completely clean from cocaine, alcohol, and marijuana. I am grateful to God for keeping me clean, for without His help I would be dead. My life has imrpoved dramatically in all areas. I still struggle with health and mental issues, but the thought of using is non-existent.
For me qutting came with a heart attack while using. That event was the worst and best day of my life, and I have been clean ever since.

Congratulations David on two years clean and sober. This is wonderful to here. Happy for you. God is so good. I’m 42 days clean and sober from alcohol and cocaine After I hit my lowest of getting a DUI. One day at a time yet I know it’s my time. Thanks for sharing. Blessings 
Sorry I’m super late, I was back and forth for a good while after my last post, but I’m back at it and today I’ve been clean for a month and 2 weeks and 6 days 
It was a very rough time for me, my little brother actually was killed inside his house on my birthday down the street from where me and the rest of my siblings were celebrating. I had a very rough time with drugs after that. I mean who wouldn’t. It’s still going to take me awhile to live with this pain but at this point I had realized that drugs weren’t making me feel numb or distract me from how I felt about what happened and it just made me feel worse about the whole situation so I stopped trying to stuff my hurt down with drugs. And in turn made it easier for me to see exactly why I needed to really try my best to stay clean this time. And I’ve been great actually.
