Listened to this guy ill say no more ,

I like Russell Brand heā€™s a funny guy

Wonderful metaphor! Absolutely love this as I have 376 days and went to a handful or AA meetings, saw a therapist and have been on this app. The sharing and connection with others that are struggling is a huge part in recovery. But we have so many sneakers to accomplish that now!

I have been sober for almost 1 year without AA. Working on myself with books, learning about alcoholism and how to cope without it. Any questions you can send my way.

I would not count on it. I was keeping in touch with him on Facebook but he deactivated his account.

I wondered what happened to him on Faceache!

Ainā€™t gonna find those answers here

I think he was taking a break from it until the election ended. I also wonder how @BondJaneBond is! I think about her from time to time and hope she is well.

Ah makes sense. Iā€™ve got rid of a lot of negativity from my Faceache feed.

I have no interest in AA meetings. I have looked at SMART Recovery which offers online meetings. Havenā€™t gone to one yet but I am hoping to. But the tools offered by SMART have been useful.

Since folks are asking, I am sober without AA. I havenā€™t looked to see if I already commented here since the thread started just before I joined here in 2017.

March 2021 will be my 4 year sober anniversary.

I feel like thereā€™s a whole bunch of us that joined in 2017/2018 with little to no time and are hitting 3 and 4 years. The one thing we all have in common is this forum. Just saying.

This forum and all you people were the biggest part of my program after I got out of IOP and went back to work. This place was my rock.

And this rock will love us until we love ourselves.
