Hey Ryan here just wanted to say thank you for the platform to be able to speak with individuals that struggle with sobriety. I’m recently sober lifelong addict and my goal is to remain on the path that God has created me to be. I know the root of my problem and that’s dealing with my emotions and feelings by utilizing prayer or speaking with a sponsor over choosing a drink or substance to drown my emotions. I realize life is challenging.

Welcome to the group! Sobriety is a rough journey but so worth it. You are right about taking just one step foward. Once you can do that,your eyes open
