Ostrich, alligator, puffin, whale, snake, pigeon, shark, quail, frog, octopus, squirrel, cow’s tongue and various organs (organs are not my favorite)…I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting. Haggis is delicious @Abacus.
I love food and will try anything once, especially different types of meat. One of the things I seek out when going to a restaurant or travelling to a new country is unique and interesting food. If something is on the menu that I’ve never had before, I will get it.
I only refuse mayonnaise. A vile substance. Never again.
Strange can be a matter of perspective. For example, you probably wouldn’t think twice about eating fruit, but ever thought about it as eating plant ovaries?
Tried balut once.
Took a bite and while it tasted like liver, the crunchiness was the most off putting sensation.
Needless to say I didn’t finish it but at least I tried it.
