I have three.

First one I got at 19 and I had to pick from the art on the walls. It had no real meaning to me then but I like it now. It is a dove with a rose and ivy in its mouth. I love how it represents peace. I need more peace in my life.

Second is a representation of my daughters. It is two fairies holding onto a mother’s love knot. Each fairy is wearing a dress the colour of their birthstone.

Third I got last year for my sober birthday. It is a unalome with a lotus flower. It represents my life journey and the beauty I have now found in my sobriety.

I do hope to get more. I’d like to get “three little birds” because, you know, everything’s gonna be alright. I’d also like to get a family of elephants lined up trunk to tail. Maybe as a ring around the bicep.

Aw i like that thats so awesome and great ideas for a rad future tattoo !! Thanks for sharing :facepunch:t3:

I don’t do tattoos personally. But I admire artful ones. It drives my wifey crazy, but my daughter has some beautiful Texas bluebonnets on the back of her calf. I think it is gorgeous.

I have a half sleeve, full rib piece , right wrist and a thigh piece. 2 dragons, flowers, a lotus and roses with a peacock feather. in no particular order.
also wings on both ankles inside and out which are my favorites.

I used to sort of regret the sleeve, but now I dont care to waste emotional bandwith on regretting my past.

I do want to finish my sleeve. I have some ideas but im going to plan it instead of just throwing shit on my arm as I did in the past.

face tattoo, huh? those are called jobstoppers lol. what would you get?
also here are two of mine no one asked for:

Searched him up now i see why  .

He’s pretty funny. He’s on Comedy Central on his late night talk show. And his stand up is hilarious. Saw him at the Kodak theatre in Hollywood couple of years back. So funny.

sure. on the surface im middle aged corporate lady. underneath im Punk Rock Chick.

but I will give you free advice as an older tattooed person-just pick what you want for your face then wait a full year, and if you still want it then do it. circumstances change and though they are more accepted now, you may end up wishing you made a different choice. just my 2 cents :slightly_smiling_face::slightly_smiling_face::+1::+1:

I was surprised at how good some were that they did inside. I heard they used coloring from m&m’s one time!
Also this one guy made a beautiful, detailed like pirate ship from bars of soap. It was so nice the director of security kept it in his office!
