Having noticed the other gnome Bastargre earlier in the day, Gnamien makes his way over to him. When I find him I say hello and join him in what he’s doing.

I’m enjoying it reading folks creative narrative, but I have no clue what’s going on, so I made an excuse that my character had to go home :grimacing:

You can hopefully take my spot … ?

Sure. Always room. Might get a bit crazy with more than 12 though. I think theres less than 10 still.

She is easy to find. She’s had performances going throughout the day. Its difficult to get near her though because of the throngs of fans.

You’re able to gather vague bits of information.
“I’m so glad things are back to normal after the late unpleasantness.”
“Have you seen Lonjiku Kaijitsu? He’s seemed under the weather lately.”
“If only Father Tobyn had been able to see this Cathedral!”

You’re able to locate Baylor Hemlock the town sheriff fairly easily. “I dont have a lot of time to answer questions. Got to keep the peace, you know. What can I help you with?”

“Pleased to meet you, Sheriff Hemlock! I hope the Light continues to favor your small town. But if you have the need for a dwarf able to cast out the occasional wiff of unpleasantness I’d be obliged to help…for a small donation from the town coffers to benefit the, ehm…ministry of The Red Hand, no doubt.”

Pulling out all the stops and bowing with a forced smile; venison stuck between his yellowed teeth.
Even Moritus recognized his distinct lack of charisma made it wonder he was elevated to his meager position in life.

Bastargre opens his mouth to ask about the parable, but at the last second pivots the conversation a different direction.

“That was quite the spectacle back there! And the parable… to become a butterfly… imagine that!” Just in time, Bastargre finds the words to segue into what really interests him.

“There’s certainly a lot to see at Sandpoint, it seems, at least at the moment. It got me thinking, I’d like to learn more about this place. Now, I can hang around the marketplace and skim for common rumours all day long, but I want the real goods. Something heavy, something not just anyone could tell me.” Bastargre shuffles nervously. “I just figured you spiritual folk can see through the surface of things and have a sense of what’s truly significant and what’s not. So, what would you say swings the heaviest at the moment?” Bastargre attempts to quell the excitement rising in his chest, hoping he didn’t ask someone completely clueless.

Out of the corner of his eye, Bastargre spots another gnome, approaching at a relaxed pace. He replies to the other gnome’s greeting with a polite one of his own. He meant to deliver it in a friendly way, but the attempt was jostled by his attention being split and by the surprise of seeing another of his kind.

He looks back to the acolyte for his reply.

Trav grins and hungrily wolfs down the salmon, then catches himself and politely places the platter back. "Mmmf, that is quite good.

“Yes, keen eye. I was just passing by when I heard the festival, never been this way before. The name’s Trav.” He extends a fish-greased hand, frowns, wipes it on his tunic, then grins and extends it again.

Admiring diva from a far, I notice that she is absolutely stunning, however her eyes and smile look empty. I find nearest empty table to wait for Allisond’s fans to disperse.

Being kind and curious by nature, Gnamien smiles and returns Bastargre’s greeting, then offers his apology for interrupting Bastargre’s question. Gnamien says, “I’m sorry, I think Bastargre was asking something - please don’t let me interrupt, do continue!”
