I’m a fan of church in general. But attending this tonight is truly in support of my mother in law. My father in law passed away a year ago. She’s having a hard time without him. The music is really rough at this church service. I don’t know if the singers are just tired because it’s the 4th service of the night but gosh… It’s Christmas. I expect better. Bring your A Game to worship the Christ child!

I’ve only ever been to church for weddings and funerals or actuator I’ve been to one Sunday service I’m asked to admit. The Christmas Eve services that they always portray in the movies are I think what have led me to want to go to one. Maybe next year now.

You should give it a try! Most churches do something special for Christmas. About 15 members of my family were there. It meant a lot to my mother in law for us to be there. I love her dearly. I’m very blessed to have her. It was an hour of time that was a gift I could give her. Heading to bed now that it’s 1:30. We have 2 houses to go to tomorrow. I need some sleep.

I was thinking the same thing earlier today. Miss my sunshine people. I’ve cut back on TS the last few days. I’ve just been busy around the house & off work. It’s been great not sitting at my desk for the last 5 days! Heading to a meeting in an hour or so. Anyone planning anything for New Years? We usually skip it all together. Too old to be staying up that late!

I’ll probably be on here a lot NYE. It’s a tough one for me. It’s the 10th anniversary of my dad’s death. Every year I spend it drinking and doing cocaine all night. Not this year though, I’m convinced his 10 yrs is a good reason for me to turn my frown upside down and celebrate in a positive way.

I do go to meetings but I’ve only done womans. A friend has offered to take me to her meeting and i may take her up on that. I’m still debating but i probably should go just to get out for a little while.
