I’m a chameleon. Supper or dinner depends on who I’m talking to and where I am. I notice it differing household to household even in the same area.

Tea is a drink. If someone has found out how to feed themselves with tea, please tell me how, so I don’t have to make myself food for a meal every evening.

Some people consider supper to be lunch right? Or is that dinner? I cant remember.

For me dinner and supper are synonymous

Yeah dinner can mean either a midday or evening meal, which is why I tend to say “supper” when it could be ambiguous.

Some people consider dinner to be lunch (that’s how it was where I grew up out east). Like, Easter or Christmas dinner was around 12/1pm. But when I moved here, people say “dinner” meaning evening meal (what I call supper)

This is also another sustenance strategy I’d like to work. So far it has not.

I tried it in grad school. It ended badly.

Pizza, however, sustains. :+1:

I grew up with lunch and dinner being interchangeable. But I think dinner is the evening meal. Unless as Fran said when we think of Christmas or Sunday dinner which is traditionally eaten at lunchtime.
Tea refers to “high tea” taken around 4 in the afternoon by the gentle folk

It is. My favorite meal of the day

We can all agree (I’m assuming) that lunch is the meal we have midway through our day.

Unless that isnt the case and it’s actually dinner that we have midway through our day…and if it’s actually dinner that we have midway through our day, why is the box we carry it in called a ‘lunch box’?
