My latest find: an old dirty covered with candle wax wooden carved candlestick.
Unfortunally I haven’t made a before picture. But here it is after I cleaned it and put some oil on it.


My husband hates it :see_no_evil_monkey: It makes him think of this:

And since he mentioned it I cannot unsee it either :flushed_face: :rofl:

I wrote my thesis with one of those, it was a real work out! :flushed_face:
I still remember one of the letters has to be pushed really hard to get it hit the paper. And if you made a mistake you had to use a special kind of paper with white ink on ot to cover it with.

No embarrassment needed at all.
It was cool to see the excited checking of a few keys, the carriage return, and the red shift.
I’d totally do the same… except my text might have more rude words in it.

Oh wow, I can hear the click clack of the typewriter in my head looking at that. I used to love typing on those as a child, pretending I was some big shot writer :joy:
