Been here over a year and relapsed once in that time I do read and maybe don’t understand everyone’s addiction but a know drink and drugs especially drugs 10 year habit blah blah.everyone here an addict there’s programs and medical help for majority of people really just came here to say goodbye as this community really gets on my tits same people offering the same advice sitting all high and mighty(you all know who u are)it’s like a clique u get in a local pub and it only getting worse none of this helps me a only come for a nosy and genuinely wish everyone all the best if u want to stay clean and sober fucking man up life’s too short take Care

Life is also too short to worry about the thoughts and actions of others. That is the next step, uou need to take man. Blaming others for their actions, good intentions or not, isn’t a way to live. It’s some black and white thinking if you ask me; which means you have other work to do and issues beyond drinking to deal with.
If you feel you’ved moved past what is offered here, great. The app is always there if you need it. I am sorry you feel so alienated; I’m sure thats not the intentions. All the best to you, mate.

Not alienated m8 just same repetitive shit day in day out a deleted Facebook and social media 7 year for same reasons

I’m almost 9 months in, and I old pop in once in a while. I’m glad you have gotten it, as some people never do.
I’ve been hard into doing the work of why I got so fsr down the rabbit hole. We have all beem damaged by something. Easier to push off, than move on.
There are lots of great books that I have been fortunate enough to come across. Disciple, healing, and doing the work to get there is 100% on us.
Well, take good care Colin. I agree.this spot isn’t for everyone. Sobriety first and everything else just works.

That confused me too. ST may not be perfect but what’s wrong with do gooders? I feel for the guy and hope he’s okay/seems like he is. We’re all human here and we’re not going to please everyone.
