Yes it was an absolute nightmare… We ended up losing at least 5 relatives to Covid or covid related symptoms. I left here around June 2020 because at that time I was a mental mess and it was all I could do to keep my direct focus on my family… Thank God my kid’s are ok. My youngest son has a compromised immune system. At the time he needed surgery but with Covid he wasn’t able to get it and his tonsils were so big he could barely breathe in his sleep. He would quit breathing 37 times in 30 minutes according to his sleep study. I was up day and night praying, cleaning and checking on them for month’s. I was barely eating or sleeping but I was sober. I knew I had to be. I would take walks to visit my oldest daughter and my two little grandsons and blow them kisses through the fence and sign to them. My family ended up having to file a mental hygiene order on me but it was for the best. I got the help I had been needing for a very long time. We’ve lived through alot of things but I have to say that was the worst. As I know it was for most people. I’m sure glad you’re back Laura. Thank you and good work to you too

Wow. I can’t imagine going through all that. I’m sorry for your losses. And glad your children are safe. So impressed you did it sober! Anyone going through that would have a breakdown eventually. It’s good you got the care you needed. You are stronger now than ever before. Glad you’re back too!
