Strava for Stage6:
@CapriciousCapricorn
Thanks for the support!!!
I think the number varies slightly, but it is the same group from stage to stage.
You had to commit before the start to participate.
It is 1 hour tomorrow, 2 hours on Saturday, and 3 hours on Sunday
They do not make it easy.
2 hours straight on Saturday and 3 hours straight on Sunday
Will do. I am sure early bed will be in order on Sunday.
This is really inspiring! Well done.
Wow you doing amazing looks gruelling so well done. Keep us all posted. Good luck for tomorrow hope you get good rest. I maybe your sober twin but not up to be your cycle buddy just yet!. ♂:biking_man:♂
Hi all…I am finally back to post the last 3 days results!!!
I am happy to report that I completed all 9 sessions!!!
Whew…I am soooooooo tired.
2.21.2020
Stage 7 is complete.
Friday was a little bit lighter, but still challenging.
It was a combination of 2 ~20+ minute sessions that really put me down on Friday.
The week was hard and I did not look forward to the ride on Friday night.
2.22.2020
Stage 8 is complete.
Saturday was two brutal sessions back-to-back.
It was a combination of 2 60+ minute sessions that really fatigued the legs.
I had a hard time the rest of the day getting chores done, but I did manage to mow and fertilize the lawn, eat an early dinner, and go to bed early to get ready for the Sunday finale.
2.23.2020
Stage 9 is complete.
Sunday was 3 super hard sessions back-to-back.
My ass along with everything else on my body was aching by the end. I am 100% brutalized and did not spare any suffering.
I am glad I made it through the challenge!!!
I have not had any thoughts of using during these past 9 days. This challenge focused me on the task at hand and really took away any thoughts of alcohol. After a week of recovery I will be ready to break my buddies legs off outside. That will make the whole thing worth it!!!
And finally, the fully completed board!!!
Thanks to all who gave me encouragement!!!
It definitely helps along the way!!!
Yaaaaaaasssssssss!!
Wow wow wow you done so well what a fantastic achievement it looks so difficult… i bet you are feeling accomplished… hope you rest now and give youraelf a treat and a massive congratulations.
@Hopeful777
Marie, thanks!!! It was fun, hard, and challenging all at the same time. I am glad it is over, but created a great fitness base heading into Spring!! I have been rewarding myself by eating like a horse.
I need to ramp it down now that I will not be expending so many calories.
