This is a great thread! I’m heading on a girls golf trip next weekend for my first trip sober in over 20 years! I’m a bit nervous but my friends all support my sobriety and it will be nice to actually remember the trip this time! Pics to follow.

Welcome to the community and have a wonderful girls trip. Glad to hear that you are supportrd by your friends. A truck for me is to always have a cold non alcoholic beverage in hand so I don’t get fomo or asked if I need a drink. Look forward to seeing the pics

3 days in Cape town two days in Namibia one day in James town St Helena two days in Gambia two days in Senegal three days in Las Palmas 12 days at sea . off to Iceland and Toronto and Niagria then train to big apple 25th march 11 days over land trip

I am traveling in Bali with a sponsee who took 2 years clean in Dec. We are having an amazing time, I even took her to an electronic music festival last night and we danced HARD, SOBER! What a blessing to be able to show her just how much fun we can have in recovery. I am grateful.

Just got off a 14 hour flight to Singapore.
In a previous life I would have definitely gotten drunk. Thankfully, no more!

We went on a genealogy trip to Texas. En route we decided to stop in San Antonio

Woahhhh that’s a lot of stairs!
Currently in So. Cal for spring break. We went to Disneyland for a few days, spent a couple days in San Diego and now we are in Joshua Tree. Being sober makes trips like this easier, no hangovers, no blackouts, no embarrassing my wife and kids, just 100% kick ass memories.
