Start with opening moves and then work your way up to Checkmate.
Yeah, I haven’t flagged anything today. Did you know heroin helps cure insomnia?
I’m also a man of the Mitch rapp series (different author)
Wait. What?
I thought I’d start on book 1
I wasn’t aware of that.
It wasn’t written first, but it’s first chronologically
Love, love Mitch Rapp. Think I’m up-to-date there
You have good taste
We suffer for the simple reason that suffering is biologically useful. It is nature’s preferred agent for inspiring change. We have evolved to always live with a certain degree of dissatisfaction and insecurity, because it’s the mildly dissatisfied and insecure creature that’s going to do the most work to innovate and survive.
When the pain becomes great enough change will occur. I’m familiar with that pain
YEP…a more interesting question, a question that people never consider is…what pain do you want in your life? What are you willing to struggle for? Because that seems to be a greater determinant of how our lives turn out.
Can we just put the 2020 new year, new me!!! Posts under one thread? Let’s see how many are around on Feb 1.
Seems like much fewer than past years to me. I wonder what the gym will be like tomorrow…between snowbirds and resolution people, January is packed. Hopefully will stick for some both here and there.
Someone is starting 2020 wearing his grumpy pants.
There’re his blankie
Bold of you to assume I’m wearing pants.
I guess I can’t really remember last year. The problem with New year’s resolutions is that it’s socially acceptable to never follow through on them.
To me, thinking to give descriptive unique thread titles is a little like knowing to stand to the right on an escalator to make things flow smoother. Some people pick up on the usefulness of it right away and work seamlessly with the system. Some people just need time and a few attempts to figure it out. Some people never learn. But it all works out if people can find the patience.
I happen to be struggling with patience this morning, but hey, it happens.
No one says their goals around me because they know I will harass them every day about following through . Society doesn’t care because they hate seeing others improve and maybe end up in a better place than them.
Indeed. How’s the Sarong you got for Christmas working out?
