Just finished watching the entire series of Modern Family, need a new show to occupy my time. I have Netflix, Disney and Prime. Any suggestions?

I just watched Zero Day and Toxic Town on Netflix. Both are great shows. Amazing acting in both.

Started Wildcards on Prime. I love it. Finished 6 seasons of McMillan & Wife. Give me the old hoakie stuff. It makes me happy.
Is there a streaming service that I can watch Boardwalk Empire in its entirety?

Definitely, I saw a few episodes. And since this is a site about sobriety, it sure did expose the underbelly of alcohol. Especially the bathtub gin, and all that stuff that people were dying from.

There’s a lot of shows that can be considered risky in sobriety but I think if you read between the lines or pay attention usually it shows the negative consequences of the drinking or drugs In TV shows. But everybody is different. I wouldn’t say personally that I have triggers because I accept the fact that I’m an alcoholic and a drug addict and what that means is that it doesn’t work out for me if I go back.if I wasn’t working a program and was watching these type of shows all day and hanging with my old friends that would be a different story. Considering you were asking about that show have you seen Peaky Blinders? I’m thinking about ordering that complete series on DVD. There’s a lot of drinking and opiate usage in that show as well but you really see the negative consequences and there is scenes where they can’t even eat breakfast in the morning or their life is falling apart.

Pesky Blinders is a great show but definitely can be slightly triggering depending on the person. I was watching real housewives and they are constantly drinking, yet if someone drinks too much they get “worried” I found that to be harder to watch…
I started watching just mindless hospital shows to pass the time, right now I’m on New Amsterdam on Netflix. It’s enjoyable, nothing more.
I haven’t seen that. But as far as Boardwalk Empire, and really, any of those shows, I don’t consider them triggers at all the thought of alcohol turns my stomach. I was actually saying the opposite because boot legging was a big thing back then and it showed all of the negative consequences from drinking. I don’t think that Show glamorized alcohol at all And even if it did, it’s not for me.
