How do you go about sanitising your phone m8? It came up on my Google feed but I didn’t read it, it is something I would like to start doing though.
Clorox wipe wrung out, or cloth slightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
Couple of years back I attended a “healthier office” conference, which included an entire day of how to sanitize your workspace, including keyboard and phone. Phones are filthy.
Thanks, handily I bought a bottle of hand sanitizer the other day that contains isopropyl alcohol, I don’t think we can but it off the shelf here.
Early on I got very caught up in the fact that we weren’t having this type of response to the flu, which has been much, MUCH worse this year than ever. Like, why haven’t we been trying to respond to it? Well, I’ve had do come to a place of acceptance with that frustration. Now we have to contend with a new, potentially deadly virus outbreak that will have to be treated concurrently. This means we have a record number of flu cases with a new, highly contagious virus in top of that. Had the flu not been so terrible this year maybe things would have been less chaotic from a medical standpoint. However, I have to accept the things I cannot change and practice changing the things I can. This is where we are. Today is the only day that matters. Today I will not spread the flu or covid to anyone, that I can, to some extent, control. And I will do my part to not aid in the panic. If they have toilet paper at the store today, I will only buy what I need for the next week. I will only buy the food and drinks that I need for the next week. I will find something productive to do to help keep my mental health in a safe space so that I don’t unnecessarily lash out at people and aid in the rising tension of the world.
My thoughts? I’m probably not going to die from the flu or from covid, but I don’t want either one. I don’t want to spread either.
The World Health Organization is a good source of information
We talk about the NHS but has the private sector US model coped any better really? I think not based on the government purchasing of ventilators etc. Every health service.in the world is not equipped for this
Yes that’s true, no health services is equipped to deal with this. Only talk about the NHS because I understand it better than the US model.
Totally agree. This was a perfect storm of political and thus health care system unreadiness combined with a novel virus that has no current treatment and no vaccine.
I’m not positive on all the details I try to avoid it. I don’t own a TV. Don’t want one. This is my only social media anymore. I stopped using face book about 6 months ago.
I chose to accept whatever my higher power has planned and find a way to be happy while the story unfolds.
Nice and smooth so far.
I used to have a single solution for everything:
Drink or/ and use.
I still have a single solution for everything today today:
Let go and let God
So for me I deal with it like any other flu
But the reality is that it’s part of nature for viruses to develop and impact mankind. And when you have big international players like China allowing 3rd world food hygiene conditions the way they do then new coronavirus strains will become more regular. SARS would have been the same if China was as Global in 2003
Saw this article which I thought was interesting.
TL:DR It’s easy to just blame the Chinese food system but the reality is probably a bit more complex.
Within the first two minutes this video says “you can’t catch a virus … it’s not a virus, it’s a solvent created in our cells” because we fill our bodies with “supermarket food and vaccines”.
We need to stick with facts at this time, with this virus - there’s a time and a place for stories and speculation but at this time we need to stick with what we know will help improve the situation. There is useful info & links here:
My favorite part is when he never says where he studied these things, or when he never says he is liscenced in anything. This guy is a pro at what he does, and it’s not being a medical or pathology specialist. Trust me, this isn’t an oversight, this is manipulation at it’s best. People like this don’t commit oversights. All in all, it was entertaining. And that’s it.
From the CDC on how a virus spreads…
There is no vaccine for this virus yet and it will take quite some time to create enough for everyone and distribute it. The common flu strains can be predictable and herd immunity (60% of people) with the shot, usually protects those who don’t get the shot. Coronavirus is a new strain with severe symptoms and the same people who are at risk from the regular flu are in even more danger now. I’m not sure what to think about the media’s coverage of this topic, but like many have said this is a global pandemic and on a positive note, it unifies us as a species, we are all humans and we all need to work together to overcome problems like these. Happy sobriety everyone.
Great reply spot on Matt stay calm and carry on regardless

Oh sure, what’s protocol on here about email exchanges?..
Your email is your own personal business, you do as you like, exercising appropriate judgement according to your privacy preferences and safety factors. There is no TS protocol I’m aware of. As long as you don’t spam it or whatever.
Me personally, I would only offer my email in a PM if at all. Non-members as well as bots can read what you post on the main forum.
Please keep this topic factual. I see a lot of information sharing that does not have a reputable source linked. Continued posts like those will cause this topic to be closed.
