I had my monthly In-Body scan at the gym.

Last month, I was losing muscle mass and hardly any fat. So I took the advice from my trainer and started loging my food religiously as well as hitting my protein targets. The results this month is 2 lbs of muscle gain along with 7lbs of fat loss!

If I was relying solely on the scale, I would had thought I plateaued. Amazing time to be alive!

For the first time since March I went up a pound this week!! I mean it’s not the end of the world but definitely disappointing considering my diet is consistent and I work two very physical jobs.

Hopefully not a trend as I am still a far far way from my goal.

Frack!!! :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Saturday’s weigh in on Sunday posted on Monday
200.8 lbs.
still going up but ever so slightly.
Not surprised considering eating out all the time. Maybe this week can be better.

73.8kg this morning which is a smidge below my goal so I’m very happy. My body fat reading is 19.1% which I’m also very happy about. The main change I’ve made is to take the fasting period of my IF protocol more seriously and have been sticking to unadulterated water or black coffee or tea during my 16 hour fast.

Trying to get back on the weight loss wagon. It’s been a crazy two months with buying a house, moving, starting a new job, family coming to visit. Trying to give myself and my partner (who also needs to lose weight) some grace.

I’m 155lbs and the only reason I haven’t gained more is because of my physically demanding job. I really just want to fit into my clothes again as I have a closet full of clothes that I like. If I lost 10-15 lbs I would be able to wear all of them.

I don’t know why it’s so hard for me to pause before making bad food choices. It’s like something flips in my head and someone else takes over. I can go in with the intention to observe my hunger or make one plate or wait 5 minutes to see if a craving passes, but as soon as I start eating that all goes out the window. I don’t like being so out of control and letting my addiction completely take over but I don’t know how to stop it :disappointed:

I’ve been stuck at basically same weight for a month. Been eating in a deficit but perhaps not as much intensive exercise… don’t know. Perhaps my body is equalizing itself or perhaps I need to change up diet.
I don’t have time right now to hit gym like I’d like too. Two jobs and getting OT at fulltime job as often as I can which has me starting at 3am and up at 1:30am. Plus multiple eves doing lawn care…

Hopefully something gets kick started soon as it’s a bit frustrating, albeit not going up, so happy with that.

I’ve lost about 20 lbs since I stopped drinking 3 weeks ago. I’m down to 201.8. I’ve been hitting the gym everyday for at least an hour. I got myself into the mind set that it’s just part of work. Lol although I like going. Did cheat and have pizza last night. At least I was not drinking with it.

A pleasant surprise when I weighed myself this morning to find I was 72.9kg. That’s the lightest I’ve been in years. Five years ago I was 95.7kg and had been diagnosed with a fatty liver. Now, with cutting out alcohol and doing intermittent fasting and yoga several times a week I’m seeing great results. Body fat is 19% too.
