I guess I forgot to post my weigh in last Saturday. The 198.0 pounds replied to was 12 days ago.
I think I was around 196 last Saturday when we started this. So maybe I lost around 7 pounds. Wifey lost 6 pounds and she’s NOT doing it again ![]()
I had fun with it. Glad it’s over though.

I bought a vibration plate and it arrived yesterday. The idea is to increase circulation and help with lymphatic drainage. And a side effect is suposedly weight loss.
I have “blown up” in the past…idk months/year? A lot of it is due to heart health. But i dont want to do a deep dive there. So heres to day 2 of using the vibration plate and using the extra energy boost after to keep my body moving.
I took batteries out of my scale a while back because of ED issues, but i will add them in and ask one of my kids to read the number and a number next week and see if it goes up, down, or stays the same.
I dont know if its placebo or actually helping but i have felt better today in regards to moving around better. ![]()

Btw. I wasn’t starving. Food don’t effect me like that. Guess I got a good metabolism or whatever. It’s just food.
Wifey was kind of cranky and doesn’t want to do it again. They recommend doing it 3 times in 3 months for ultimate health benefits
wifey says she’s not doing it again. And they offer 1 day resets. I was just having fun with it and supporting my wife. I’d do it again, I guess. But it won’t be my idea.
I like the way my gut feels today and during the fast. I have a habit over over eating when I do eat.

Long time no check in. Weight was being super stubborn (well I wasn’t tracking as tightly as I should have been perhaps), but past three weeks finally got things dialed in more and have gotten 6lbs lower in those weeks.
Progress is always so much slower than you want and seemingly much slower than it comes on.

Still over here hanging out at my 150 lb barrier. One day recently I weighed 149.9
I’m very very good at eating at maintenance for my current weight (I’ve been 150-152 for probably a year now). Now I just need to eat at maintenance for my goal weight!!
I’ve been super stressed and distracted and unfocused lately so I’ll track everything up until the afternoon and then just forget to do it in the evenings even though it uses to be automatic. So that’s my first thing to fix.

I haven’t seen the scale reflect this but I have started building some better habits and removing bad ones that I have had for decades so I just wanted to share!
I’ve been able to eat mindfully with no distractions. Usually I have a book or my phone. That and paying closer attention to my body is making me realize when I am full,.when in the past I would finish whatever I served myself. Now I have been putting food back into container and fridge if I realize I am full.
I also am making peace with throwing food out / composting it. If there’s 5 bites left in a bowl, not enough to save for later, I throw it out.
Just going to keep strengthening these habits and even if they don’t help with weight loss, they are good habits! At some point I hope to try not eating in front of the TV but that’s a ways off ![]()
Yay down 5lb in 25 days. Went back to tracking my calories/macros everyday with a 150cal deficit. Weightlifting 30min x 3-5days per week. And training for a 10k so working on distance running. Gotta be careful cuz running lots make me crave food more.
