Checking in on weigh in day.
Pretty boring. I’ll take it. Still at 196.4
Low end of weight rang. That’s 3 weigh ins in a row same weight. Feeling good.
Weightloss been going great, getting my diet in check has been key, aka I like to eat shit food too much
Was 254 lbs when I quit, 265 lbs in 2019 in my hay days of drinking, thats when I started making changes and alcohol became one of them. Today I am 228 lbs, but last week was about 225 (so I set back) this is the lightest I’ve been since I was probably 20 or 19, walking like 12 km a day at work this week (8 miles or something) feeling good and happy with myself and will continue weightloss goal is for 215 lbs this years goal
Last night I had a big bowl of spaghetti for dinner. Not ideal for my weightloss attempt. So tonight I’m behaving and having a bowl of broccoli and two small fish cakes… I weighed in at 70kg this morning.
I also walked 5ks today and this is my first and only meal of the day. I’ve had 3 litres of water and three coffees.Weigh in day for me! Well, I did it! I made it to and beyond to my initial goal weight of 120 lbs!! Today I weighed 119.4 lbs!! A loss of 3.6 lbs this week. I’m astonished actually, but I guess to give myself credit, I really busted my butt at my workouts this week and the scale showed it. I’m actually proud of myself and my accomplishment thus far. That’s something I haven’t said or felt about myself in such a long time. So I’m thankful and grateful. I am proof that hardwork and dedication can and will pay off if you put the time in. My overall grand total loss is 32.4 lbs in 22 weeks or just over 5 months.
Just wanted to share! Hope everyone has a GREAT Sunday!!
Yaaaaaaaaay!!! SO happy for you!
Congratulations
Checking in for my weightloss
So I started my journey on December 15 2020
At 224 pounds it is now May 2 2021 and iam weighing in at 178 pounds I’ve lost a total of 46 pounds staying disciplined in my meals watching what I eat and staying Discplined no overeating peppermint teat 3 meals aa day with healthy snacks in between I feel much lighter much better I fit better into clothes overall just very happy with my results the journey doesn’t end here my goal weight is 145 pounds iam 33 pounds away from weight goal nothing can stop me ! I recently just hired to a local truck driving position now to that means more time to workout ! Congrats to everyone on there journey !!
@Truckinmonster21. Outstanding!! I have a friend who says it is very difficult to lose weight on the road. Truck stops, inactivity, etc. Actually, he is overweight now and diabetic. Much older than you…but still…you obviously developed strategies!! He is taking time off to get it under control.
Thank you SO SO much!!! I couldn’t believe it actually, although it was right in front of my eyes!! So, yesterday I took a legit rest day and just did a 20 min core class. No hiking, cycling or walk + jog. Usually try to do a 60 min endurance based cycle class and a 20 min hike, with 10 min core. But decided on just core. It felt good to give my body a rest day. I have been pushing my body to the extreme limit most days, so enjoying the weather we had here (sunny and in the 80s) was exactly what was needed. Today I’ll be back at it, hitting hard.
On Thursday hubby and I go for our 2nd dose of the covid vaccine, so Im not sure how I’ll be feeling come Friday, so I’m preparing to possibly take it easy or a rest day depending on that. So Monday through Thursday I want to keep going at it strong. I still have a lot of core issues and am not overly impressed with that area. Of course it always has been my biggest trouble spot and it was the area most negatively impacted by my addiction. Although I hit my goal I’m surprised how how much belly fat still remains there even being 32+ lbs lighter! So I’m just going to keep at it. I may adjust my goal weight to to 110 -115 lbs and see how that looks and feels. I want to be able to be happy with whatever weight I decide to land on/around and be able to maintain it well. I probably should start thinking about shifting my focus to more lifting weights than cardio, but I do enjoy cardio and making a lot of progress with the walk + jogs.
Anyway! Enough of my rambling for now! Thank you for me so encouraging!!
Oh most definitely !
Time off the road is very much needed especially if he is out there weeks out of the month what ends up happening is we drive so much by the time we run out of hours as proffesional drivers we want to be sure we have enough sleep for onother 11 hours of driving the next day it’s consuming so trying to fit in some workout time can get tricky I’m happy for your friend let’s gooo !!!
Checking in on weigh in day.
Probably eating too much great Cali food. But trying to make good. Ok decent healthy choices.
Weighed in at 197.4 or 6 ?
Still goal weight range but gained a pound. And at least I’m going to split a Ruben with the wife for lunch at Fromins Deli and get only 1 latke.
I’m going to enjoy but not over do.
Congratulations to you too Trucker J. Staying and keeping in the game. And the 46 pounds ya lost.
Let’s keep Going !!
Good luck with that second shot. I hope you don’t get sic. Seems hit or miss no rhyme or reason people getting sick or not. At least the people I know. Except me and the wife are over 60 and so is a friend of ours and we didn’t get sick. Just a little fatigued. Probably from the stress of waiting to be sick or not. Lots of fluids. Keep up the good work. And let your body rest. It needs to.
Thank you, I appreciate the well wishes with dose #2! My ex and my hubby’s ex both got to feeling pretty ill after their second doses. So, I guess only time will tell. We go Thursday evening (about 7pm) so I’ll be sure to give an update on Friday/Saturday how we are doing. I too have read staying well hydrate tends to help, so I’ll be sure to get my daily goal of 112+ ounces of water in and thensome on those coming days as well.
Sunday did feel good to take a break from all the intense working out, I will admit. Once I hit my now tweaked goal weight, I probably will start shifting the workouts and the amounts of them around. I do look forward to the days of just doing my workouts to maintain thenew tweaked goal when I reach it and get stronger and not so focused on overall weight and fat loss. It is not too far away now! Just going to keep on chugging along!
In addition, I hope your trip to Cali is going AWESOME!!! I must have missed you mentioning heading there, but saw the pics with all the animals in the car!! What a trip!! Are you moving there or just visiting for awhile? Don’t stress too much over your 1 lb gain if you can and enjoy yourselves!! I look forward to seeing more pics too!
Pilate’s. day 2. Weigh in : 71.2kg.
My weight has increased. I predicted this in my first two weeks clean. Its OK. I’m healthy so its just a slow daily process of keeping my calories in deficit.
I’m learning that food is so much more enjoying after you work out. It just tastes better.
Breakfast : scrambled egg no butter no milk just two eggs . with alot of spinach.
I’m VERY sore from Pilate’s yesterday. Even my neck muscles hurt. Didnt know they existed
Omg!! I did it!! I actually did it!
GOAL REACHED 42 mf lbs yisssssssss
(Or 3 stone in english weight )
Took almost 6 months in total but I had a few messed up weeks over the Christmas period, the bulk of that weight loss has happened since mid January. I’m so pleased I got my shit together and started when I did.
I’m gonna aim for another 7lbs, I really really need to start weight training now to build a better shape, I lost the weight mostly through diet and walking but to have the shape I want I need to get back into the weights… I dont know why I keep procrastinating over it, I feel pretty tired a lot of the time atm but even if I just did it for two days a week itd make a difference so I need to kick myself up the butt and get going with that asap.
But for now… hallelujah I fucking did it hahahaha yes!!!
Congrats girl. Very happy to see your amazing progress!!
Hey you!! You’re doing GREAT!! I haven’t dabbled much in pilates in the last 10 years, but I should get back to it. I know it would kick my ass though, but thats okay!!
That food you made looks incredibly tasty!! YUMMY!!! Food after workout definitely tastes excellent so much more so I’ve come to realize. I enjoy a banana with crunchy peanut butter after Im done and it tastes absolutely divine post workout! It’s the simple things in life, haha!
YAY YAY YAY!!! YOU DID IT!!! I AM DO FREAKING HAPPY FOR YOU!!! We just about made it to our initial goals at the same time, how AWESOME is that!!! This is so fantastic I tell ya!!! Love seeing you made it!!
As for you needing to go a little further to lose some more and how you need to strength training, I could have wrote the rest of your post, too need to do the exact same. I’m going to shoot for another 5ish lbs of weight loss (up to 9ish lbs) and I need to continue with and really ramp up my weight training even of its just with free weights and dumb bells. My core is just not where I want it to be. I still have consider fat stores in there, it’s not just skin. Don’t get me wrong I’m not going for a visable 6 pack of abs or anything but not having still a significant layer of fat that remains there would be nice and what I hope to achieve. I do not have much if any fat left on my body besides my core. So I want to zap that out of there!
Keep it up!!! You doing marvelous!!!
Yum. I LOVE toast with crunchy PB and banana! I sometimes sprinkle a tiny bit if cinnamon and drizzle a tiny bit of maple syrup , if I’m having an afternoon snack urge for something sweet try it. You will love it those ingredients are also great for a smoothie! Banana, PB, maple syrup, cinnamon, almond milk ,chia seeds, collegen or vanilla protein powder… That one is on high rotation in my smoothie choice’s
