Asked my family not to bring any alcohol into my house when they came over today
Seeking a virtual meeting to strengthen resolve this evening
Today I’m 16 days clean and sober, for the first time in 23 years. I will be spending time with my daughter: doing the food shopping, walk in the woods etc, while my wife spends time with friends.

Making a crock pot meal
AA meeting
Reading for 30 minutes
Finding a good movie when everything is done for the day..

And it is working. Yes I am doing all the things I originally did on first day of sobriety. Better understanding of the why now but still I need to be vigilant. I attended meeting, connected with my Higher Power and looking deep within to be sure I will be sober today. I love you are here to share your journey with us.
