@RoseCityRonin has been out lately (missing you) . It is a good thread and I should share here
Connecting with higher power today. Keep living the life of love and kindness and of course humor. Staying focused on why and how I am sober today and will be just for today.

Looking into SMART recovery.
Damn. Sorry y’all … it’s been a minute. If any of you have been wondering: no, I have not fallen off.
I have 2 years, 5 months, 6 days as of this posting.
I also have had a recent addition to my life: a girlfriend! A normie girlfriend (of all things)!
I broke my wrist skateboarding at a skatepark (little 10-year-old fricka-fracker on a scooter got in my way! ); however, I didn’t get sucked into the pain pill vortex.
Other than that… just doin’ the things that got me here: gratitude, positive attitude, livin’ and lovin’ life!
Your Doing exactly what you’re supposed to do which is live your life and enjoy your life sober. Proud of you man. But sorry to hear you broke your wrist. That’s skateboarding for you! I have broke both my wrist a couple times and it used to drive me crazy depending what kind of cast I would have and I would have to stick a pencil in between the cast and my arm because the itching would drive me crazy! Hopefully you don’t have to deal with that. At least you can still cruise around if you feel like it… That was always my thinking when I broke an arm or wrist I would immediately think that I can still skate so that’s good! Breaking an arm or wrist will interfere with your life a little bit Breaking a leg or ankle is a whole different story.
I broke my arm/wrist once. The doctor pushed my hand down at a 90 degree angle (oh the pain) and casted it that way. Imagine trying to sleep that way. 4 weeks later another doc removed it and asked why the 1st doc had done that. Soooo mad!!
Today I am choosing to do the next right thing. Being honest, doing a good job at work, being kind to others (including myself), and trying to be of service on TS
Having my coffee and logging in here reading about everyones struggles and sucess. Amazed still how everyone works together here on TS! Which us why I really this forum!
