Today I’m staying sober. Taking my meds. Checking in here, and reading through threads. No urge to drink.
Logging in here tonight and enjoying some coffee.
Your Doing exactly what you’re supposed to do which is live your life and enjoy your life sober. Proud of you man. But sorry to hear you broke your wrist. That’s skateboarding for you! I have broke both my wrist a couple times and it used to drive me crazy depending what kind of cast I would have and I would have to stick a pencil in between the cast and my arm because the itching would drive me crazy! Hopefully you don’t have to deal with that. At least you can still cruise around if you feel like it… That was always my thinking when I broke an arm or wrist I would immediately think that I can still skate so that’s good! Breaking an arm or wrist will interfere with your life a little bit Breaking a leg or ankle is a whole different story.
Congrats on 15 days sober!
I broke my arm/wrist once. The doctor pushed my hand down at a 90 degree angle (oh the pain) and casted it that way. Imagine trying to sleep that way. 4 weeks later another doc removed it and asked why the 1st doc had done that. Soooo mad!!
Hey you.. so glad you stopped in… Congrats on sober days. Congrats on the girlfriend (you deserve happiness) and sorry about the wrist..
Had a long a very good talk with my sponsor. Helped me to stop the alcoholic thoughts I was having and calm my anxieties about the future.
