with TS… Tryng to focus more and worry less.
Today I am:
~ Cleaning my home. A fresh home helps with my mental health
~ Helping others on TS
~ Remembering the basics of recovery
~ Treating my body with respect (eating healthy food in the right amounts)
~ Being patient and kind with others
This morning:
Coffee and quiet time with my dogs.
Coffee and journaling.
Coffee and reading (Byung-Chul Han’s Vita Contemplativa).
Taking my 12 year old to get her hair done.

I am putting my recovery first and reaching out to the Higher Powers often.

being a part of this community too has been awesome since I live in a small town where the recovery community isn’t as big (Snowflake, Arizona)
lots more actually i keep myself busy doing good as much as possible
Watching War of the Worlds, the new one with Ice Cube and Eva Longoria. It’s so, so, so, so, so bad that I totally forgot that I wanted to drink. I mean this movie is so stupid — I forgot how to drink.
Basically today is about being of service to others and trying not to engage in my BED. Focusing on the next right step
It was so bad lol i watched it last night and was cringing. So cheesy!
Checking in! Lots of coffee today and a busy work day. Now on my way to pick up my kiddos from daycare and head to my parents house for dinner
Oh NO! I was really looking forward to watching that. I am sorry that it was such a sucky movie! Glad it kept you numbed with its stupidity that you forgot to drink LOL
Well I had an intense craving after I got off work. Usually it passess within an hour but this time it was longer and kept nagging. So I utilized the h.a.l.t method! I called a friend and we got lunch together. Drank lemon water and ate a big salad. Craving gone. Still sober

I think im just over tired from not sleeping last night and going all day. I had a headache for most of the day and my son was hyper all day and non stop talking and all i wanted to do was rest. So i played a game with him and then went to lay down on the couch. But he wasnt listening so i had to step aside and take some deep breaths so that I wouldnt get frustrated. Thankfully it worked and I am feeling a little better now. I just need sleep i think. Plus i way over caffeinated myself and that probably wasnt a good idea either
