This and A bag of frozen fruit is How I will get my day started!
The P.O.D. Youth of the nation song Reminded me about MxPx … I forgot about them. Music is awesome . hope everybody has a great day
For whatever reason it wont let me post the url:
Nutshell - Alice in chains. The whole unplugged album is good but Nutshell was my therapist when I was at my lowest, I have it tattooed on my arm as a reminder.
Deadman walking - Jellyroll
I remember getting this album on cassette tape for free, from a music store.
That’s what iTunes used to look like…
And sorry. A music store was a building you would go to to buy music. It didn’t appear magically on your phone. You had to actually have a music player.
Excuse me sir but I am 32 so I definitely know the struggle of the cassette and cd life also having to request a song on the radio so you could record it for your ringtone
I’m 33. I don’t really remember cassettes but I think they were still kind of going on when I was born and Maybe 10 years after?, but I definitely remember CDs. Kinda like how my dad misses records, I miss CDs. Because honestly I remember it was different when I knew there was a new CD coming out like you would listen to the whole thing because you kind of have to. Now it’s like there’s so much stuff out there. A lot of music now is based on songs not albums, this is coming from somebody who is literally been listening to music their whole entire life. Music is literally my first memory Is my dad letting me watch VH1 pop-up video when I was like four or five maybe six, …who knows
You bought cassette tapes, or you had some? How about 8 Tracks?
Am also 32, music stores were around all over the place here in socal.
I remember taking any money I’d receive on my birthday and taking it to go buy albums.
They would have signings and releases and shit.
Those were the days.
I had some cassets but mostly cd thank you very much
