All we got to play when I was a kid were tapes and 8 tracks. We had a ton of records, but we weren’t allowed to use the record player. The diamond tips were too expensive…
I still remember when CDs came out. We were SURE they wouldn’t last. They were so expensive! Like $14 expensive!

Dizzy Gillespie is my all-time favorite artist! I remember seeing him in concert at the Cincinnati Zoo in the 80’s! I have a framed picture of he and I and his autographed ticket on my desk at home.
