What is everyone doing today

Here i am again Saturday and craving for that realise I cant seem to find anything I want to do or enjoy i just feel so lost :disappointed_face:

I’ll be shoveling a lot of snow off of my roofs. It’s gonna suck but I’ll be sober and get exercise :upside_down_face:.

Work from 9 to 1 to compete my work week and hours then I have a few small errands to run on the way home.. Then if it warms up decently I want to play some basketball.. I want to research telescopes because I want to get one very soon but its crazy they range from like 200 bucks to thousands of dollars.. Then eat a good meal or maybe get some stuff for the crockpot and find a movie or show to watch this evening.. Also listening to music and build some legos

Sometimes I have to ignore my feelings.. like sometimes I feel like laying around and doing nothing but if I just get up and get started with something even if its something as simple as a walk around the neighborhood or organizing my kitchen then I build a little momentum and then I end up being glad I did something.. plus it turns into a chain reaction and then I do all kinds of things

I’ve been to the gym, done a food shop and some chores, now off to take Rocky :dog_face: for a walk, then I’m aiming for a snuggled afternoon with him on my sofa watching Emily in Paris, Rocky will probably be snoring away no doubt!! :sleeping_face:

Try taking yourself off for a little walk, I know it can be hard but the small things can make a big difference with your mindset hun :heart_hands:t3:

I used to either block out time or at least have a list of things: some recovery work, some cleaning/tidying, some work, some exercise. Today I walked to some shops and bought unexciting things like socks, undershirts, groceries, did two loads of washing and cleaned the toilets, and made fisherman’s pie for dinner.

I will be heading out shortly to watch my Grandson’s basketball game. Then he is coming to stay overnight with us. That means some Pokemon playing and a few games. Maybe we will take a walk. Plus lots of sandwich and snack making, he is growing fast.

I always found taking a walk in nature helpful, cleaning also busied my mind, reading, physical activity, sleeping…puzzles can be a good activity as well. We need to learn to be in the world versus numbing ourselves out of it. When particularly antsy, physical activity helps…tho lord knows I need to practice this more myself. Hope u r okay. :people_hugging:

Was out in the fog for 4.5 h walking and freezing in the fog.

Heading to a yoga class in an hour. Some house cleaning after. It’s cold, grey, and dreary here today so it’s a good day for it. Walk the pups later. Weekends are the hardest for me also, with Friday nights the worst. I had this feeling that after killing myself at work all week, I **deserved** some kind of reward. Usually a few bottles of wine, which would ruin my entire next day. This time around I realize I can veg out on the couch if I choose to, not because I have to b/c of a hangover. When I think of all the wasted hours, I could kick myself!

having a slow morning, fixing to finish getting ready and going to buy prep for my colonoscopy on Tuesday. Then going to have sushi & go bowling with the husband (which I really don’t like bc deep down I am competitive & he is SO good :rofl:) but it will keep me out and distracted :slightly_smiling_face:

All of the time that we spent our days drinking, can you remember what you used to like to do for fun before drinking? If so try to do those things! I have a hard time with remembering bc since I can remember it has been drinking or partying . Exploring new interests help too! Anything you want to pick up - pottery, cooking classes, volunteer days :heart: ODAAT. This weekend will pass too

Back in the garden planting onion seeds ,cactus and sweet peas seeds , prep raised beds moved leeks and winter carrots , put some monkey nuts out for Cyril the Squirrel the wee bugger keeps digging up my bulbs so the nuts are a distraction lol
