What’s your favorite nonalcoholic drink?

I love grocery store so much. That’s my first place I go when I’m somewhere new. And I’m always looking for cool drinks and candy. I went to London in 2007. I brought back all kind of stuff. And I really liked all the corner stores. I remember skateboarding at hyde Park I think? And I remember there was a two-story Burger King I thought it was weird. That was also the first time I saw a street musician … I saw tons of them and then I realize well I can make money doing that back in Florida and meet all kinds of people. Sorry I went off on a little ramble there. I love beverages and it’s so cool putting the vodka down because there’s so many more better drinks. And there is so many cool places to travel.

I still have the hotel card in my wallet. I’ve always wanted to call the number and see if the hotel is still there. I’m sure it is. I want to say it was King Street? But I can’t remember it’s been so long

Oh cool, I love hearing what people think of England. Things that are so normal to us, and different to you. Is it true that Americans don’t drink squash? Just found that out today! If it is my mind is blown

It was a really good experience and everybody was really nice. I was 18 years old and I was just walking the streets every single night just meeting and talking to random people… I went to Sigmund Freud’s house, and mostly was just skateboarding around the city. I saw wicked at some kind of theater or something possibly in Picadilly Circus? If I go back I probably would want to see more of the countryside or somewhere less busy. For some reason people always have bad things to say about places but I think everywhere can be cool … As far as squash I’ve been cooking the vegetable a lot cut up in the oven. I never heard about drinking squash? But that might be a slang term for something?

Also at the time I was pretty excited that they had packs of cigarettes in 10!

Haha yes, I had forgotten about packs of 10! They were actually pretty cute in a terrible way. Just editing as I remember ice cream vans selling them to kids as singles :woman_facepalming::rofl:

It sounds like you had the proper London experience, we are only 20 miles north of there but technically the countryside. There are so many amazing places to visit outside of the city, like the castles and heritage, or just the scenery.

So squash is fruit flavoured cordial, which you dilute with water. Kids of my generation were raised on it as their normal drink. Now we try and encourage kids to have water, but squash is the main drink at parties when they are little, or beaver scouts etc. Always looks like this…

I gave it up years ago but am back on it since giving up wine. What did you all drink growing up?

That drink looks interesting I’ll have to look into that. I’m not sure about everybody else In the United States but I know my parents were always pushing for healthy alternatives… But any chance I could get I was trying to drink Mountain Dew, Kool-Aid, tang , Capri Sun!, All kinds of different yogurt drinks, It was just wanting sugar … But Mountain Dew was seriously like gold back then when I was a little kid. I think things have changed though and these days there’s more commercials for healthy stuff and whatever but it seems like back then it was like Mountain Dew commercials every three seconds

Seriously back then like pretty much shot Gunning Capri Suns And Mountain Dew.

I will have to look into that. I quit drinking coffee because of anxiety. I mostly drink Different brands and flavors of green tea … But haven’t tried any other kind of tea

Blueberry pomegranate green tea by Lipton I pretty much drink every morning … It’s affordable and it gives me just the right amount of energy but I don’t feel like I’m being chased by a car like coffee feels

It is a good tea, I drink alot of tea now that I don’t drink
