What’s your favorite nonalcoholic drink?

I think I know how to pronounce this And think I’ve heard about it. I will have to look this up. The photo looks like a mason jar with spaghetti inside. My first thought seeing that photo was I don’t have to live like that anymore ha

It’s fermented cabbage, so full of probiotics. But you can use cucumber as well. Or anything really I guess. It’s spicy, stinky and DELICIOUS!!!

I’m not gonna lie I’m gonna have to think about that. But I’m definitely making progress. I met this girl who got me to like brussels sprouts. Things are changing! :grinning:… I am about six months to three years out from cabbage

Thank you. I’m definitely glad I made this post now. I’m learning more and more to reach out on here. Especially the last couple weeks I can’t believe that I’m sober right now. Maybe it’s karma for my past. But I got dealt everything in the last month. I think I’m almost through the worst of it. It’s gonna keep posting on here even if it is ridiculous questions. Thank you so much for your Health suggestions And input. Also putting all those laughing  it made me laugh a bunch. Being happy and laughing and be really strange when you’ve been used to not doing that for 12 years. Anyway hope you have a good rest of your day and good luck on your journey

I can’t believe I’ve been eating cabbage For the last couple weeks! Monumental

The only thing that really curbs my cravings at the moment is sparking water / soda water.
I bought this clear American cherry limeade sparking water from Walmart the other day and I may go buy more. They were delicious and definitely helped curb the craving

That’s my go to! Unfortunately for me, I bought my local Walmart’s out of stock.
Now I’m stuck with the black cherry…

How about the fab elixir called the “Arnold Palmer”? Lemonade and ice tea!

But, what if you were skiing? Or skydiving or something? Wouldn’t you need both hands?

That looks amazing, I am drinking lemonade and lime cordial a lot, but cherry too sounds really good!

Agree! And yes, it feels like an oral fixation

I start with really good coffee in the morning, and then drink lots of water and herbal teas throughout the afternoon. Then maybe a treat fizzy drink, followed by an evening of obsessive sleepy tea and water drinking.

I like the Clear American because it’s cheap, for one, and it has all those zeros! Which is a form of sorcery, which is cool! How can something so tasty have zero calories and zero sugar? Sorcery!

I need to make a list of all the things I need from America on the next trip! Sometimes you do find these things in a special aisle in our supermarkets, but they usually add loads of money to the basic cost!

And yes, witchcraft

Better make that list quick. While you can still afford things here… :astonished:

Being a transplanted Northerner in the South I’ve always gone for UNsweet tea (which is unheard of down here)! So that’s my go to. I put it in a fancy glass with a lemon and a lime! Other than that water and coffee.

I have not but I will Try them that way. I also been eating a lot of zucchini. My mom has been teaching me to try to only buy food on the perimeter of the grocery store the circle that goes around the store is everything you need. Everything in the middle is nothing just empty calories and junk. I couldn’t make these changes at first because I would’ve lost my mind and I needed a lot of sugar and processed junk. But now I’m trying to make changes even just getting rid of certain things to where I have to use the stove has helped.
