I’m just curious as to what you do to earn that paycheck? I’m a housekeeper for a convention center that caters to only Whirlpool employees. I started here right as I was getting sober!
Im a retired Landscape gardener , I just travel the world a lot with my wife , play my guitar and play fifa 25 and of course love my garden
I work as a Front Line Support Worker for adults who have a combination of mental health and intellectual disabilities
That’s a wonderful occupation! My son is developmently delayed so that is something that’s close to my heart
That’s my husband and mines plan for whenever retirement comes. Now that we’re sober and can actually start saving money we’ve been putting a little bit back for traveling. It’s always been our dream to buy a camper and just see the world.
I’m a pharmacy technician. I do data entry and code prescriptions all day. I’m lucky enough to work from home. I use to work in the building but have worked from home since covid
I run a brokerage firm.
Other than bar-person or whisky taster I cannot imagine another industry with such widespread alcohol acceptance still, there are more of us on the sober train every day I find
I’m a jack of all trades master of none, songwriter, and homemaker. I used to DoorDash but that became a trigger after time (extra money on command is not great all the time)
Direct mail marketing manager/analyst for a tribal Casino.
In the evenings I’m a musician/singer/songwriter (unfortunately, it doesn’t pay the bills)
That’s a fact:joy:
Still the best therapy out there
I’m a cleaner. I have a small group of houses that I regularly go to. I love all of my customers and it’s great to go and see them. I am blessed.
Indeed! It’s therapy and rehab all in one!
I manage a large double drive thru fast food restaurant. Not glamorous at all but pays well considering I have no education past grade 12. We are located close to the highway on ramp so it’s almost always very busy .
I teach college English. I know, everybody hated their English classes.
Not everyone, my favourite class I ever had was my grade 10 advance English class. Mr Hood was the best and I swear all we did was read novels and then discuss them as a group.
I’m a mental health nurse and experience worker or what’s the correct term in English. I work in a detox facility.
I absolutely love English. I actually wanted to be a teacher. It’s all about having the right teacher. I kept in touch with my high school teacher long after college until she passed last month. She had a way of diving into the language that kept my interest. I am sure you are that teacher from many✨
I’m also a lecturer. I teach English in college in Spain.
After many years in various public/private/charity sector jobs, mostly IT support, I’ve been retired 4 years today! Don’t miss going to work at all.
These days I’m mostly a carer for my 89 year old mother, who lives near me.
Nope not me ! Loved every one. I was always teachers pet and got extra credit for grading papers. Good memories.
