the watchguard is on duty 
We did the annual vet check and almost everything is ok. The old boy needs additional treatment for his old kidneys and his teeth have to be done. We made an appointment in 2 weeks. The big red furball is so nervous in the car, he shit himself like always. Poor boy. This time he was easy to clean 
Missi bite me when I gave her the worm pill while the vet was searching for the applicator. It will hopefully heal without infection. Better me than the vet, I know it doesn’t work with the applicator on her.
So here they are with their current weight, in good shape for their age and happy to have survived the trip to the vet

I’m not much of photographer and my cats just want to kiss my phone when I try to take pics but I’ll try and get some better shots.
Here’s my mama cat (no cone) and her daughter (with cone) after she’d been spayed. I’ve got her dad too (he’s a big old stinky boi) but they’ve all been ‘done’ now so no more kitties! The baby turned one last week so she got lots of fuss and birthday catnip.
Rosie (mama) had six kittens in her litter which was enough kittens to last me at least another few years. Being woken up by six kittens chasing each other around your room every night for close to 8 weeks was not the one

@erntedank Noodle loves the rain cause she loves a good towel dry after she gets wet. Otherwise she will sit and just watch it.

That’s lovely I imagine Noodle enjoying being towel dried. What is it that cats are so lovely whatever they do and that it looks like peace when they sleep? Noodle is gorgeous

Just to let you know the Ginger Ninja is no more, he was put to sleep earlier today due to congestive heart failure. He’s now reunited with his brother Boris who left last October. He was never the same after that, part of his sparkle had faded

Oh Jim! I’m so sorry to read about your loss 
it’s just as painful as losing any other member of the family. That’s so sad about his brother, always horrible when those close bonds come to an end and you can see the loss they’re experiencing. Thinking of you. RIP Jinja & Boris. Reunited again.

@erntedank absolutely will do! I’ll have to see if I can get a good shot of him. We rescued him from an older neighbour a while back as she couldn’t care for him anymore and had him neutered shortly after we got him. We’d always known his as the local ‘street cat’. Then the kittens happened in between 
Due to the fact that he’s so old (12ish) and lived the tom life for so long, he’s a lil rough around the edges. But the vet says he’s doing well for his advanced age! Going a little blind and deaf now but god we love him.

Ha ha, was on holiday so haven’t seen her much myself lately. But her she is! Just took this picture a minute ago because she made me laugh by sitting in my old antique closet again.
She did that as well the first day she was her 2 months ago. Yesterday was the first day in her life ever for being outside!! She loved it!
She lived in a very small appartment for 11 years and was always inside the house. She was very fat as well. Today I’m proud to say she has already lost 2 kilo (4,4 pounds) with the help of special food and a lot of playing with her. I think now she can go outside as well may improve her bodyweight and mental state as well.
It’s so good to see her develop to a healthy happy cat!!
