Some neighbours wanted to adopt them but they changed their minds and now I’m not sure what to do. I would love to keep them but it’s not only my decision.
I’d like to kick your ex. And I haven’t kicked anybody for 45 years.
Gave Lucas (the cat) a bath yesterday. Went surprisingly well.
Join the club. It’s a long list, for multiple reasons. He deserves much worse than that. I’ve never met anyone so cruel to animals.
Happy world cat day folks!
no cat memes?
I had a visitor at my late mum’s place where I was mowing today.
If I must @erntedank…
This is when they were a few months old. I’m trying to learn how not to overfeed them. Bird is getting fat. If someone put a pizza in front of my face every day I would get fat too.
cuuuute
a cat never gets fat - just a bit chunky so there’s more cat the humans can love and pet
I don’t know. I showed some old friends this pic and they both agreed that they were fat.
They are only a year and a half here. I know that I am in charge of keeping them healthy and food is one of the ways I show love.
I don’t think they are fat. To me they look normal. As long as the vet doesn’t say they grew too heavy it would be ok for me.
Give them a scratch from me
March 10 2007. Luna and Rosa came to live with me late November 2006. This is where, while I was at home, they spent almost all of their time the first 4/5/6 months, on top of the bedroom closet.
Well if today is the day for cats @erntedank , here’s some more!
My mother with her 3 girls. Sassy (aka Meatloaf (top)), Patches (aka Carrot (left)), and Cali (aka Shrimp (she weighs 3lbs🍤))
What a lovely picture Looks like the three cuties are spoiled by your mum. Being surrounded by cats is wonderful!
I think it is. Miauw
Thank you for the reminder!
Here’s a picture of our very first cat. His name was Ukko (it means old man, or man). He was a stray cat, and was found approximately after two years of roaming the streets of this one town about an hour away from the town where my parents lived.
He was taken to a cat shelter, and my parents adopted him in 2006, because my mum saw an ad on a local newspaper concerning the cat shelter, with a picture of Ukko. My mum fell in love with him straight away, and as they took him home, it was love at first sight for all of us.
As some cats do, he had a big personality, and even the ladies at the cat shelter said that many cats come and go, and some aren’t as memorable, but Ukko made a big impression on all of them! He was very bossy, and he had street smarts. He had his “character defects”, sometimes he would just hiss and scratch someone unannounced, but it was quite rare anyway, and the longer he stayed with us, all that unwanted behaviour just kinda disappeared.
He passed away in 2015, peacefully at my parents home, dad was next to him, petting him as he took his last breath.
My parents spoiled him rotten, dad always said that he had lived such a rough life before, that now he deserved all the love and affection he wanted and needed. You can see in the picture that his other earlobe was gone, they suspected that it had frozen, since he stayed outside for so long, before he came to the shelter.
I’m glad he came to our lives. He really exponentially increased my love for cats.
