My 4 year old cat that is like velcro to me and doesnt really have a name, it just"cat". Helps me with the sobriety. Day 12 for me ends soon (00:32h where i am) and i managed to take a nap with my cat laying on me and purring earlier in the day.

I’m going Saturday there’s some kind of free mobile vet clinic thing or something like that on Saturday and they do everything for free like a basic check up and they will give her whatever shots she needs. I found the location and got information. They come like every six months or something like that. There is a pretty big apartment complex next to me and I’m going to go to their office in the next couple days and see if anybody lives there that has one of those things I can take her in .. I guess it’s called carrier

Haven’t thought about the name I keep forgetting about that. To be honest I’m kind of worried and I don’t wanna get too connected to this cat because I’m leaving in October or November but I feel like that’s kind of already happening. She is definitely way more vocal with me and actually wants to come inside now. Like I can tell that she wants to come inside pretty often so once she gets all of her shots I will be more comfortable with her staying the night. I would take her to my parents house but she has been used to being outside for a really long time and the guest house I’ll be renting out my parents is pretty small .. My parents have a dog so I would potentially take her with me but even if I bring her to the main house occasionally I don’t know how she’s going to get along with my parents dog. It’s about a 45 minute drive so honestly I would still come back to this area at least once a week to make sure she is OK.. I’m starting to get a routine with feeding her as well because if I just leave a bunch of food out then I’ll be feeding the whole entire wildlife of this county and I’m sorry but it’s not my responsibility to feed possums and raccoons and birds and whatever else lol. I’m just trying to take care of this cat

Ps: I don’t know maybe I will take her with me when I move to my parents when I’m done probation.. I just worried that it’s going to be too small of a space for her and it might be a weird adjustment considering she’s used to being outside 15 to 18 hours a day now or sometimes the full 24 hour. My parents did say I could bring her. I’ll think about it

Me and my cat buddy are trying to investigate this bug infestation on my okra Plants !! They We’re fine yesterday and now there is a bunch of white looking vein lines! I can’t expect to be a master gardener in three weeks. Hopefully neem oil does the Trick!! The cat communicated to me that something was wrong with my plants or at least some of them

And yes I need a name for this cat still lol

I can’t believe we all got to witness you go from afraid of cats to full blown cat whisperer ( well at least with this little guy ) lol. There is definitely a reason this cat started turning up at your door when it did.

That’s true! I do really like this cat and feel like we are connected but I still think I struggle with cats in general but it’s getting better. I seriously do have full-blown conversations with this cat lol plus now it seems like it wants to be inside at least at night time now !! It’s a little actor and wants to stand by my door and act all sad lol . It’s like dude you were surviving homeless long before I came around and now you wanna act all sad and homeless.

Actor cat !!

Cats will adapt quickly. I drove Woody to my new home 10 years ago. 2 hours of whaling. He is an outdoor cat and moving into a home with another cat. Took maybe 2 days but all was good. Drove him 2 1/2 hours to where I live now and was terrified he couldn’t survive outside with the wildlife that surrounds me. He is still surviving just fine. Small place where you plan to live! Cats sleep 18 hours a day they don’t need much room and I am sure the dog thing will sort itself out. My dog Yunna and Woody do not get along. There is a lot of barking and hissing but it is what it is. Sometimes want to put both of them in a room and shut the door but afraid cat will scratch the dogs eye which I cannot replace. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’ll probably end up taking her with me but I’ll definitely think it over. Taking her to this mobile vet clinic thing on Saturday so I’ll make sure she has all of her shots and then I’ll probably just let her stay inside of my apartment a lot more and adapt to being inside

Great idea on keeping her in. Before you know it you will be living under her rule.:cat:

Yeah I don’t really know anything about cats but I’m serious like I think she is the healthiest stray cat I’ve ever seen. Even before I started feeding her and giving her water every day she looked really healthy

I don’t think the cat is acting Trevor. It was fine outside & probably still is but it’s just decided you’re its person. Animals in general are just like that. We have multiple pets in our house and even though they are family pets they each have a member of the family that is ā€œ their personā€ that they have a special unique bond with .

I hear you I’m just joking around. I know she is showing appreciation because I’m taking care of her and I can tell she’s being more vocal and wants to be around me more often because I’m helping her out and she’s helping me out with my anxiety
