I do notice After I spend time with this cat I do feel less anxious. Especially if I pet her and it’s like we exchange the energy. I wonder if she can tell that I have anxiety problems and she gives me her cat energy and I feel better. It’s hard to explain. I was Always this way with the family dogs over the years but like I said I never really was around cats. I would like to think I’m pretty good with animals

Sorry you’re stressed! I know it might be hard to stay positive but these feelings will pass. You’re doing a lot better than you realize and you’re stacking up sober days!!

Pets are definitely very healing for the soul. My special pet is our dog Stubbs. My partner and kids went and adopted him a little over a year ago when he was a 16 week old puppy from a local
Dog rescue . He was instantly drawn to me and hasn’t left my side since . I swear he knew how broken I was then. Now he is a big part of my sober journey.
Our cat is drawn to my teenage daughter. Probably because they are both so moody lol
And my almost 10 year old swears having our golden retriever Chloe sleep with her keeps bad dreams away

See if he/she has been chipped, if not get it done.
If it is chipped you’ll find out the age etc.

If cats are unwell the first signs are dry nose and the 3rd eyelid starts to come over, then it’s vet time.
