Where my cat people? #4

No, we dont have cat flap. There are some reasons why I don’t want to install it but maybe I’m wrong… Our other cat is bringing dead mice, birds etc quite often and it’s enough for me when I see it in front of the door :grimacing: I don’t want to have it inside. Also, we are under constant attack of slugs and this thing would only make it easier for them. And ants. And cold air  I don’t know, I just don’t want this thing.
But thank you for advice :green_heart:

These two were cuddled up, watching Garfield’s Halloween special.
Does anyone else remember that classic?

Hahaha. I once boarded a tuxedo cat called Henry and he was a bloody nuisance boy. I had him for about six weeks before he was relocated back to his family in the USA.

He decided very quickly he liked to go and press the toilet flush repeatedly during the day… And throughout the night…

Maybe getting another cat would help? Someone he can be with at night, so he doesn’t have to be alone. I have two cats and they are generally ok not bothering us at night when both of them are together in the living room. If we have one in the bedroom though, the other one usually will come up to the bedroom door and ask to be let in. Not every time, but more than when the two are together outside the bedroom.

This is just a guess; I am no cat psychologist. But still I think, from a cat’s perspective, the family group shares heat and protection while sleeping right? So from a cat’s perspective, being isolated at night makes no sense. At least having another cat around would mean your cat wouldn’t be alone.

My two cats are siblings though, and they have always been together, so it’s possible that is a factor.

We have 2 cats. Mama Luna and Baby Luna (boy, troublemaker). Baby Luna is obviously a son of Mama Luna. Yes, my kids gave the boy his name
They are not super close to eachother tho. Luna is only 2.5yo so she is still young cat but she doesn’t want to play with him. She prefers to spend time outside, he likes to be at home. I don’t think he feels lonely. Bored, maybe.

Thanks for your impact :orange_heart:
