Hi everyone, I need some advice, trying to introduce 12 weeks old kitten (boy) to my 5 year old cat (girl), she is not having it, hissing at him and at me, its been 12 hours…

That’s what happened when I brought a kitten home several months ago.
My 1 year old kitty couldn’t stop hissing.
I kept the kitten separated from her in another room, while also letting her hang out in a crate sometimes so she could walk by her and familiarize herself.
After 4 days or so they have become pretty inseparable and absolutely adore each other now.

Thank you xxx I didn’t expect she will be so defensive, I introduced his blanket to her days ago and after hissing (at blanket 
) she relaxed, having him around is a different story, separate rooms for now, lets see how it goes

Bebe relaxed a little bit, let me stroke her, Im spending time with them separately, Teddy is super brave but knows better than approaching her

Teddy is absolutely adorable 
. I think cats can sense safe zones when they are acclimating to shared space. I’m sure the two of them will be best buds soon
