Chilling with my friend earlier. I have a little bed being delivered that I’m going to put outside and I have a proper feeding bowl also been delivered. I’m just going to have to pay attention to the weather and bring it inside if it’s going to be bad but where I’m putting it at there is a awning above or a roof so it probably won’t get wet anyway.. pretty much this can be the home away from home for this cat or eventually it will just always be here. I started letting it inside occasionally but pretty quickly it wants to go back out and I completely understand

You know me. I have to laugh. You preplanning for a hurricane for others is hilarious as I believe you weren’t doing much caring a few years back. I love that you are here and sharing your growth in plants animals and your life.

I’ve always felt a connection with plants and animals. I like plants and animals because they don’t try to be anything else but exactly what they are. There is a reason I consider mother nature to be my higher power. Animals and plants are not two-sided or flip-flop in how they are. You can count on them. There’s a lot more I can say but you pretty much get what I’m saying. As far as helping in the past you’re right I really wasn’t doing much of that because I was more concerned about having enough drugs and alcohol. I might’ve had the idea of helping someone or something but I never followed through Because I was preoccupied with my habits.

I don’t think my new friend has fleas but I’m thinking about taking her to the vet regardless but I don’t want to spook her. I saw online that there was medication but it was only 24 hours I was thinking maybe there was something longer like a month that you crush up and put with food? I’ve been careful about letting her in my apartment but this morning she wanted to do some investigating and exploring it seemed like and I think she’s getting more comfortable because she was jumping all over stuff. She was acting like she drank some coffee. The bond is growing stronger. So is the trust. It goes both ways. I still felt very anxious when she was in my apartment but it’s Getting better…She did not want to leave so I just waited till she went to the door. Got a bunch of stuff coming from Amazon.. it’s going to be Christmas pretty soon

There is a pretty bad thunderstorm coming and I’m trying to make sure she sticks around and I’m going to let her inside for a while but she ran off.. probably Climbing trees on the other side of the property. I let her inside early this morning and I think she is more comfortable being in my apartment now and did a lot of Investigating and checking things out then was jumping on counters and onto tables. I don’t think she has fleas but till this medicine gets here she will not be aloud on the couch or regular furniture. I have really grown to enjoy spending time with this cat. But at the same time I want her to explore and live her active life of adventure. Never woulda thought.. seriously!
A couple of my neighbors are sitting out here and they say they don’t have a name for her or as far as they know nobody has a name. But she goes all over the place around here so who knows!!

Luna had a small brain haemorrhage yesterday. Her left side’s affected, she can’t use her legs properly. But she can still walk, albeit wobbly, she gets on the bed and the couch (using the ramp and a crate), she does use the litter box and she enjoys cuddling and petting. One day at a time right?
