Haha. BlueyMan - in the bottom picture - has become rather quite obsessed with Yoghurt. I know they shouldn’t have it at all as it’s dairy, but he’s obsessed and flies into the living room every evening for his little tiny portion of yoghurt.
After tea, we generally make a pudding of really good thick Greek yoghurt with berries and some Bran flakes in it. I don’t eat breakfast at all, so I have my breakfast as a pudding that stops me snacking in the evening. As soon as he hears the bowl and spoon around 7pm he’s in and ready for it. He really loves the soy dairy free yogurts with pear and banana the best apparently… My partner advises me that’s his favourite flavour. 
Bear didn’t used to like yoghurt at all and is more ofa meat kind of guy, but in the spirit of FOMO, has now decided he does indeed like yoghurt after all.

Thank you @HolySquid @Alisa @Cjp And anyone else that responded or read my post yesterday! She came back about two hours ago as far as I know.. She ate a ridiculous amount of food and then immediately jumped in her bed after giving me some love!! Not sure what she was up to but I asked her if she went to a party and she Meowed back to me lol ! I can’t be mad at her because originally she is an outside cat and I can’t make her stay somewhere but honestly today I’m probably going to leave her in my apartment because she seems pretty tired and normally she’s not sleeping first thing in the morning so obviously she is tired. That bed on my desk is way more comfortable than wherever she normally sleeps like in the grass and she’ll have air-conditioning. I feel like I’m making a executive decision that she needs to stay inside for a few hours today and then tomorrow I’ll let her back to her normal routine of going outside all the time. I guess because I was spending a lot of time with her I’m starting to know what she is like and I can tell she is tired. Probably shouldn’t have worried for no reason but I am definitely ordering a collar with my number on it on my lunch break today! 100%.. I don’t think it has to have her name but I would like to have my number that way somebody knows that she has A owner and in case something happens

Dang Cat. That’s what they do. She was sleeping somewhere even though she came home tired.

I think the collars is a good idea (if the vet recommends it) with your phone number. But then don’t be upset if you get a call saying “hey my kitty cat got your phone number on it.” I’m just joking with you.
I’m glad she came home. Best way to keep her home is keep her at home. It’s cute, came in ‘after hours’.

Yeah honestly me and some of the people at the apartment complex she has been hanging out for a couple years have joked about maybe she has an owner but just the owner lets her do whatever but I don’t think that’s the case. Probably multiple people are feeding her or did but I confidently know that I’m the only one that has actually thought about what’s best for her or what is going to make her life more comfortable like getting her flea shots and Running a flea comb through her occasionally and she has a bed and toys And I watch the weather for her !! Like I’ve said before I just feel like I want her to still be able to explore and go outside a lot because I can tell she really likes climbing trees and having fun and I can’t Expect her to adapt to being inside 100% but she’s getting there. This cat is funny and she knows she is spoiled now.. She also is communicative at the right times. I feel like we have a mutual respect and she knows I got her back

I live at a sober living house and we have a cat that has adopted us. He once was a street ally cat, he came to us super skinny, I’ll looking. Now he is chunky and spoiled and healthy as can be. He’s got the signature tore ear from his ally days he’s black and white cute as can be. His name is Romeó

I never realized how much cats sleep! Maybe she is catching up on much-needed rest probably on the streets she can’t sleep as much because she has to have one eye open..
I need to get her some blankets or something.. She has a little circle bed that I put a white sheet on and sometimes if I can tell she is cold I’ll put like a regular T-shirt on her or around her.. I’m making do with what I got.. I’m learning how to be a cat parent every day..
Usually her routine is if she’s been outside all day when I get home from work she eats some food and then she runs around the apartment for two hours and climbs inside of boxes And likes to play this hide and seek game or she likes to go under the couch and reach for my feet and then she climbs up on my desk and goes to sleep till morning
.. I guess cats are kind of like humans as far as being creatures of habit but sometimes she is kind of random or in a different mood
Like I said making do with what I got.. You guys might laugh but I also put her food inside of coffee filters and put it on the ground and I just throw them away every day…I probably should just get a bowl for her food like a cat bowl or whatever lol .. I’m a idiot and that’s OK.. Kind of like her food is to go but she’s here and not going anywhere.. Also I guess I don’t have to wash anything and I just dispose of them when she eats her food. And her water is in this big Tupperware bowl haha .. I need to go on Amazon and look at cat accessories
Sometimes she likes dry food and sometimes she likes wet food she goes back-and-forth so now I just give her both every day and she can pick whatever one she wants

You’re doing an awesome job of caring for her! Don’t let that baby get cold! Is she snuggling with you or just sleeping in her own bed like a princess? 
I think the idea of the coffee filters is great. Even paper bowls. I’m surprised there aren’t other critters out there that ate the food.
With eating bowls, they say that they need room for their whiskers to spread out.

She climbs up on the couch with me really when she is frightened or I can tell if she has anxiety or something like that…. Especially if it’s storming she’ll jump up on my lap on the couch..I know one thing she really likes when I pet her especially when she first lays down on her bed. I pretty much have a routine of like helping her get to sleep. But she likes to get her rest I think and she really likes her bed. I bought the bed pretty much immediately when she started sleeping on my desk and I think that’s because it’s higher off the ground so she feels safer I’m guessing. Also sometimes she goes into my bedroom and sleeps in the closet on top of this empty plastic tote I’m not sure what that’s about but it’s rarely. Pretty much my bedroom is abandoned because the air conditioning does not reach my bedroom so I’m pretty much doing all of my living in my living room and sleeping on the couch and my desk is right next to my couch where she sleeps.. Surprisingly I think she sleeps most of the night but I thought they were nocturnal. Every once in a while she will get up in the middle of the night which sometimes can scare the shit out of me especially when I first started taking care of her because I would forget there was a cat in here lol. Also there has been many times where I can’t find her because she is climbed something ridiculous or hiding somewhere. But thanks for the positive words and making me feel good about doing a good job. Like I said before I just really understand the life she had before and I know what it’s like to go without a meal or go without a bed/ roof and I want her to have a better life. Maybe I will get her another little bed to put on top of the tote in the closet for when she goes in there.. Right now it’s just a bunch of clothes laying there so it’s more comfortable than the plastic tote..
PS: I will never give her catnip inside ever again! That was ridiculous and almost scary how fast she was running all over the place and acting nuts. If she has that again I will let her outside

My veterinarian used to make catnip toys for her cat patients. So she approved it.
On the other hand, I’m not so sure I approve it. Like other things it changes behavior.
In this case, personally, I would rather see her on it inside the house than outside. If she’s gonna go crazy, I think you’d want some control over what’s happening?
I have never read the literature on catnip. Until about a year ago, I always had a cat since I was 13? Cats are masters at hiding out in your house and it doesn’t matter how much you call them and how much they can really hear you, they might choose not to show up when they’re right there, sleeping, doesn’t mean they don’t love you or care, just means they’re not responding. This is very common and happens to the best of cat parents. My kitty used to stick her head out and meow to let me know where she was, most of the time, which I appreciated, because a lot of kitties don’t/ won’t.
